Collection: Pallet securing

Efficient loading. Stable storage. Safe transport.

Whether it is light goods or heavy goods, maximum stability is particularly important to ensure risk-free transport. Our tensioning belts made of tear-resistant polyester tape offer an extremely effective solution. With various designs, they enable the optimal securing of all goods and bring them reliably to their destination.

Tightened – tensioning straps for maximum hold

From removals to car transport: the integrity of the goods being transported always has the highest priority. Acceleration and abrupt braking maneuvers can cause movement in the cargo hold and thus lead to damage to the goods. Professional load securing is therefore of great importance. Our high-quality lashing straps combine easy handling with professional transport and also offer protection against dirt and moisture.

Ratchet, clamp lock, hook – the right tensioning strap for every need

Tension belts have to withstand various loads - both in trucks and in vans. That's why our TÜV-tested belts are available in various versions. With lengths between five and six meters and a tear strength of 250 daN up to 2,000 daN, both smaller strapping work and the secure fastening of heavy transport goods can be carried out. The sturdy metal ratchet allows the belt to be quickly tightened in just a few steps to create the necessary tension. This ensures that the goods do not slip in the loading area during transport. Two-part ratchet belts with pointed hooks offer an additional fastening option and ensure that your load remains firmly under control!

Useful information: Correct and safe loading

Using our straps is simple and reliable. However, we recommend that you consider a few aspects for safe transport:

  • Shipping with responsibility: Plan enough time for careful and professional loading. Regular driver safety training and seminars on load securing help to impart and consolidate the necessary specialist knowledge to drivers. Aids provided in the transport vehicles facilitate and speed up the loading process.
  • Calculating the load: Goods of different weights require specific load securing. Take the total mass of the load into account to determine the appropriate tensioning strap tear strength. A rule of thumb is: 1 deca-Newton (daN) = 10 Newton (N) = 1 kg.
  • Storage of the lashing straps: To ensure a long service life of the lashing straps, store the material in a cool and dry place. Avoid contact with chemicals and do not expose the straps to direct sunlight.
  • Regular cleaning: Since tensioning straps are often subjected to heavy use and can therefore become dirty, they should be cleaned at regular intervals. However, do not use chemical solvents as these can damage the material.

Strong in holding. Strong in shipping.

Effective load securing is a great advantage, especially in mail order. Saving time and economic aspects play an important role. Would you like to find out more? You can find further options for secure load securing in our packaging guide.

Stretch film for moving: Everything safely packed

Moving an apartment or office requires thorough preparation and organization. In addition to boxes, bags and furniture, items that require special protection also have to be transported. Stretch film for moving can be used to pack furniture or, in individual cases, technical equipment to avoid damage.

In our online shop at der-umzugsshop.de we offer you stretch film for your move, which is easy to handle and offers you a high level of security.

Protective stretch film for moving

The stretch film used when moving is usually transparent - in some cases also black - and highly stretchable. It is available in large rolls and can therefore be easily wrapped around furniture and appliances. Due to its high stretchability and strength, it offers effective protection for bulky objects. Sofas are protected from dirt, and cupboards and chests of drawers can be transported assembled.

Stretch film should not be missing from any move. It saves time and ensures that your furniture arrives at your new home undamaged.

Applications for stretch films during removals

When loading large cupboards or chests of drawers into a moving van, there are two options. Either the pieces of furniture can be dismantled into individual parts and loaded individually so that they can then be reassembled in the new apartment. Or you can choose the second, time-saving option and wrap all items in stretch film. This way, drawers do not have to be transported separately and doors do not have to be dismantled. At the same time, the transparent film offers excellent protection against moisture and dirt.

Of course, all shelves and compartments should be cleared before moving, but if you have a large collection of CDs or DVDs that are stored in a separate tower, you can also wrap it in stretch film. The media will stay in place and the tower can be transported without any problems.

Advantages of furniture transport

To protect drawers, door handles or other objects from impact, they can be sealed with adhesive tape. Adhesive tape that is stuck over the handles or knobs not only protects the objects themselves, but also all objects leaning against them. Stretch film also serves the same function, but has the additional advantage that it can be removed without leaving any residue after the move. While conventional adhesive tape often leaves residue on the furniture, the surface of stretch film remains flawless.

If your shipment consists of many small parts, you should consider using stretch film. This can be wrapped quickly and easily without anything slipping. It has been specially developed to withstand heavy use, so the risk of it tearing during the move is very low.

Properties of stretch film

Stretch wrap is becoming more and more common in moving because it offers exceptional features and a reasonable price. Stretch wrap is standard equipment for moving companies and should always be available. If you are planning your private move, it is advisable to get stretch wrap in advance to safely pack your delicate furniture. The advantages are:

  • extremely stretchy
  • high durability
  • exceptional tear resistance

When selecting the right stretch film, you can choose between different thicknesses. The practical roll storage makes it easy to handle. Alternatively, you can use dispensers that make it easy to wrap the packaging material around the items.

Packing material for moving

Moving is a major undertaking that involves transporting all of your home furnishings from one place to another. Sometimes belongings even have to be shipped across continents. This requires a variety of packing materials to protect cabinets, dressers, seating and other items.

Tape can be used to keep many drawers closed so they don't open during transit, but it often leaves behind residue that is difficult to remove if other packing materials have already been used.

In order to safely load glass fronts, mirrors or televisions, moving blankets can be used when moving. These are placed between the individual items and thus effectively cushion shocks. For larger picture frames, it is advisable to use picture corners to prevent the frames from breaking.

In our online shop at flittify.com we offer you a wide range of packaging materials for your transport. All furniture and objects must be protected from impacts, dirt and moisture and should arrive in your new home in the same condition. Additional tools such as cutter knives or gloves complement the work equipment when moving. We are happy to advise you and help you with the planning.
